In the Canadore TV and Video Production program we strongly believe in teaching, not only the technical side of production but also the basics. What it takes to produce programming for a television network, production facility, a documentary, music video or a corporate video for a client. With hands on learning occurring within the first week of school, students really embrace the program and its mission.
" Canadore's Tv and Video production program not only taught me excellent technical and practical skills related to the field, but also something i never expected, the interpersonal and communicative skills that go along with the it."
Andy Repa - 2012 TV Graduate
"I am confident that this is all the school i'll ever need because the course is so dynamic that anything I want to do is now possible."
Mason Pridham - 2012 TV Graduate
Full on, but in a very good way is the way I would describe the program thus far. I am pleased not only with my decision to take this course at Canadore, but also with my timing!. The new course, specific facilities recently built are amazing. The professors and fellow students alike have been a pleasure to work with . I really like the team atmosphere at Canadore. In every department, there is always an answer waiting
Shannon Lucas - 2nd year TV student
Location, Location, Location!
Canadore College is located on the shores of Lake Nipissing in beautiful North Bay, Ontario, Canada. Only a few short hours drive from Ottawa or Toronto, North Bay is known as the 'Gateway to the North'. A city of 54,000, it has all the big city amenities you'll need, like shopping, live theater, music venues, movies and of course, both a college and university. It's also located right in the midst of the natural beauty of 'The Near North' making it easy to get away from it all to hike, rock-climb, kayak, go boating or sailing, canoe, swim, or fish. In the Winter there is snow-machining, down-hill skiing, cross-country skiing, ice-fishing, snowshoeing or ice-climbing. Imagine all of that and a TV and Film school too!
